Security Protection for Portable Passwords
SanDisk
is now shipping U3 smart USB Flash
drives with added security, pre-loaded with SignupShield Password Manager
Software. This featured application
will be available on both the new Cruzer Micro and Titanium U3 smart flash
drives.

Protecteer
LLC, a leading provider of password management & protection tools, today
announced that password files created by its SignupShield Password Manager
product, shipping pre-loaded on all SanDisk’s secure Cruzer U3 smart drives, are
now protected by two independent security features.
The
first level of protection is SanDisk’s new hardware-based access control
mechanism which provides for an optional password required to access any file
residing on a SanDisk U3 smart flash drive. The second level of protection is
provided by SignupShield’s own encryption of password
files.
